Transplanting large trees and shrubs is a specialized skill. We have had great success moving very large trees. Unlike other companies, we prefer to dig and ball and burlap the plant material rather than using a mechanized spade digger. This ensures that the delicate roots can be gently and precisely hand pruned. The specimen is then ready to have the root ball covered with burlap and bound with twine. Often we enlist the help of Mayer Tree Service to use one of their many cranes to lift the tree out of its existing hole and into it's new home. This allows us to place the tree while doing very little damage to the surrounding landscape.
